IRS notices we cover

Find your notice below. Each one has an honest status — what we can do today, in plain terms. If we can't fully help with something yet, we'll say so.

The short version

  • NoticeFiled prepares full responses to IRS CP2000 and CP2501 underreporter notices for $97.
  • A CP14 is a balance-due notice; NoticeFiled helps you understand and verify it, not dispute a balance that's correct.

Have a CP2000 or CP2501 in hand?

Upload it and get a clear read on whether the IRS is right, plus a response letter ready to sign and submit — $97 flat.

Don't wait — most CP2000 notices give you about 30 days to respond.

NoticeFiled is a document-preparation tool, not a law firm or tax advisor. This page is general information, not legal or tax advice, and no outcome is guaranteed. You review, sign, and submit your own response to the IRS.

About the notices we cover

Which IRS notices does NoticeFiled help with?

Today we provide a full response for CP2000 and CP2501 (underreporter notices), and understand-and-verify guidance for CP14 (balance due). More notice types are on the roadmap.

Do you handle a CP14?

Not as a response-letter product — a CP14 is usually a correct balance due, and the right move is to pay it. We help you understand and verify the amount first, and if the balance traces to an adjustment you disagree with, we can help you check that adjustment.

What if my notice isn't listed here?

If it's a CP2000-style underreporter question, we can almost certainly help. For anything else, it may be on our roadmap rather than available today — we'd rather tell you honestly than pretend to cover something we don't.
